Speedy Breakfast Quesadilla

This healthy, protein-rich dish makes the perfect breakfast on the go! It’s an excellent way to brighten up a hectic morning.


8 oz (230 g) chicken, cooked, sliced
1 egg, large
4 tbsp (60 mL) cheddar cheese, grated
2 tbsp (30 mL) salsa
1 tbsp (15 mL) green pepper, chopped
1 whole wheat tortilla, 8 inch


1 Scramble egg in frying pan.
2 Layer egg, cheese, salsa, green pepper and chicken over whole-wheat tortilla.
3 Roll or fold the tortilla and enjoy!
