Why pay for a sub-par sandwich at a fast food chain when you can make a better version at home? Grilled chicken, romaine lettuce, and juicy tomatoes make a delectable wrap. Try homemade tortillas instead of pita bread for a change of pace.

Ingredients

strips chicken breast(s), grilled
1/2
whole wheat pita
1 tsp (5 mL)
barbecue sauce
1 tbsp (15 mL)
light mayonnaise
1 tbsp (15 mL)
low-fat salad dressing
1 tbsp (15 mL)
simulated bacon bits

leaves Romaine lettuce
3
slices tomato(es)
Instructions

Spread inside of half a whole-wheat pita with mayonnaise or salad dressing and barbecue sauce and sprinkle with the simulated bacon bits.

Layer in the grilled chicken breast strips, sliced tomatoes and lettuce leaves that have been washed.
